RH.com Review: Cayo Industrial: Horror Attraction

CAYO INDUSTRIAL: HORROR ATTRACTION
Located at 1290 University Avenue, Cayo Industrial is in its first year of operation in the Rochester area. Those behind this haunted attraction however are far from new to the haunt industry. I had an opportunity to speak briefly with the owner of Cayo Industrial, Joshua Reale. Reale reports that in addition to his Rochester attraction, he has a very successful haunted attraction operating in Utica, NY. Based on his success, he now has two attractions operating in the Utica location; Warehouse of Biotech & Warehouse of Revelation. Each haunt guarantees a unique and completely different kind of experience. If you’re visiting the Utica area, Reale invites you to stop by and promises that you won’t be disappointed.

Cayo Industrial: Horror Attraction is a new and unique haunted venue in Rochester. There is plenty of well-lit parking within close proximity to the attraction. Tickets can be purchased at the attraction site for $10. Once you purchase your ticket, you’ll be led into a staging area where you’ll wait for a few moments for your friendly “ticket collection agent”. The scare-venture begins shortly thereafter.
Cayo Industrial is not your typical run of the mill haunt. One of the first things you’ll notice after entering the attraction is the amount of time and detail that went into developing the sets. While many haunted attractions spray some fake blood on the wall and have their staff run around with cheesy rubber masks, Reale takes his attraction to the next level; not only with set design, but with skilled people who really get into their work and have a passion for scaring. It won’t take you long to get hooked on the theme of the attraction either.

Reale did a nice job with Cayo Industrial: Horror Attraction. Swing by and give Cayo Industrial a try!
